The first line: [font color="#6600FF"] Hiya! [/font color] That's a mix of HTML and BBCode. The second line: <B><I><font color="#6600FF"><font="Verdana">Hiya</font></I></B> This is HTML, which we don't use on the board, I have it turned off. The third line. [color="#6600FF"]hiya[\font][\I][\B] Is BBCode, but you're missing the opening font, indent and bold tags,and missing the color closing tags, and your / is backwards (\) It should look like this: [b][i][font=Verdana][color="#6600FF"]hiya[/color][/font][/i][/b] hiya As IPB is moving away from BBCode, or is limiting it any way, I would recommend only using BBCode for color, and use the buttons in the tool bar at the top of the post box as it's pretty extensive. The tip helps and it may be just your bar or that of administrators bars but my bar shows the B I U Emote Link and Preview buttons only. The other retries I didn't want to show on here. Bahaha!
