Pineapple on Pizza

47 posts in this topic

I like pineapple with many things. On a pizza is NOT one of them. I gave it a chance. I tried it.  But, it's just altogether wrong.

That being said, people in Britain put corn on pizza. This is just as ridiculous.

Corn on pizza, I’m right there with you @Songmistress.  I love corn corn, but to put it on pizza, it’s just wrong.

What is wrong with you people?  Hawaiian pizza is the ultra ultimate. I thought we could be friends...  Maybe even lovers...  But now, I'm disgusted with my original thought.  Hating on pineapple pizzas.  You should all be ashamed of yourselves.

Lovers huh?

No way.  That just seems super odd.  Probably good as shit, but still odd.  LOL.

@hirondelle Look, nobody in the States takes Kansas or its people seriously, and that is a perfect example why.

corn on pizza is delicious btw

This I also gave an honest try.  But. No.  Corn does not belong on a pizza and neither does it belong mixed up together with mayo and tuna fish.

I'm actually wondering if anyone has ever had human on a pizza.  Like, maybe that's in the Hannibal Lecter cookbook somewhere.

I mean, companies must think that the natural evolution of food, rather than making something well and sticking to it, is to make something ridiculous that garners headlines.

Headlines > Quality

Taco Bell with the Doritos Locos Tacos and the Naked Egg breakfast taco, for example, or perhaps the KFC Double Down. Or, the most obvious and egregious example in this eponymously named thread, Pineapple Pizza.

Now who would do that to an innocent pizza?

LOL! LOVE this thread! All your comments have LOL'd me :D

I am am on Team YES! I love pineapple on pizza, not with ham as I find it boring but with pepperoni... or most other meats.

On another note, I worked in a pizza place in Australia... freakiest pizza creations that people actually ordered! were shark pizza (I tried this and yuk!) and egg pizza (not my bag!) and marmite/vegemite pizza (WIN!)

Also love pineapple in my burgers and on my gammon. And those little cheese and pineapple cocktail sticks.

Pineapple wins at life. As does cheese. NOM!
