But, so is the great darkness, the evil. And, in real fairytales, as in faery itself, the characters do not get to come out of their stories unscathed. There are no scar-free tales. This made my day better. So fucking true. I just wanted to say thank you for thinking and writing it. It's actually really important. I mean it can be such shit to live through, but it's still important. So. Thank you. (Also, OBVIOUSLY, for the love story. It's one of my favourites, too. Disney have done us a great deservice by sanitising our fairy tales... or should I say late Disney, early Disney understood the importance of darkness and light.
