    Hockey Cards

So, when the pandemic started, and I got a bit depressed after being home so long, and I started spending too much money, I kind of started collecting sports cards again, and got big into Hockey (they are cheaper than the other sports, and look better in general in my opinion). I'm now starting to go through everythying, seperate out the autographs and the relics and the commons, and I'm wondering, what should I keep (teams/players) and what not? Any recommendations? Also @Timberwolf are there any particular players or NHL teams popular in Thailand? I know I'm gonna have dupes in the commons, and if I do, and they are teams or players that are popular over there, well...maybe I send you a surprise to pass around to your teammates/competitors. RIght now, I know I'm going to be keeping a hold of all of my Ovechkins, and Jagr cards (I like them as players). I'll probably also keep most of the Wild in honor of Dom, but, not sure where else to start as I start sorting.
  3. DO you remember.....chalk hearts melting on a playground wall......Do you remember dawn escapes from moon washed college halls....Do you remember, Cherry blossoms in the market square.....Do you remember I thought it was confetti in our hair..... sorry, can't resist with the title =P
  4. I keep forgetting most things right now. Been 8 months Friday since i've had any real in person social contact or been into the offfice, with a minimum of another 2 months, and more likely another 5-6 before we start to go back. im badly out of shape (hard to find the time or energy to exercise =P) and im just really tired of being in the house with my parents. Once i get out of debt (gonna take a tad longer, cause of a short bout of depression where i overspent on stuff i dont need =P ), I'm seriously thinking about trying to find a job in europe, so I can get a big change of scenery and get away. Other than that, not doing to bad. I've become a lot closer to some online friends who stream on twitch, and its helped me keep what little of my sanity I still have =P
  5. yeah, for me, they're telling us to plan on having to telework for 6-12 weeks. I'm not sure my psyche can handle that. Might be different if I lived alone, but 2-3 months of my parents nonstop with teleworking isnt going to be good for me. Especially if they keep watching the hallmark channel. Its been nothing but crappy romance movies every day since thanksgiving. I've only been home 3 days and I'm already starting to lose it =P
  6. I'm going insane after just 3 days of mandatory telework. I'm very introverted, but have had a lack of meaningful social contact for so long, than now....i NEEEEEED contact.....physical contact, and I'm not allowed to have it for the forseable future Plus, no pretty women smile at me when i'm at home. Gonna be a rough month or two =P
  7. Just re-read THe Sound of Broken Absolutes by Peter Orullian. Short story from Unfettered that he published as a stand alone as well
  8. Meet Cara. I met her at the renn fest last weekend and brought her home with me 1CBAA8B7-E1C5-49F0-9298-56515554F7E4.MOV
  9. The description in the store sucked me I so I bought it, then found out my brother had won a prerelase edition in a giveaway =P. It was really good. I started it on a Monday I think and finished it like Thursday (while working full days). Just couldn’t stop reading.
  10. @Redly it’s a tale of the Vikings coming to North America from the point of view of a young Inuit shaman. It’s a fictional mythological tale.
  11. Just finished The Wolf in the Whale. Amazing book. Recommend everyone to look at it.
