It has been a very long time since I have decided to sit down to write something. Anything. Be it a few words, a poem, or a short story. Well, for one reason or another, I felt the inspiration to sit down at the computer this morning and write a poem for my friends and family all around the world this Christmas. Back on November 18th, I struggled a little with Facebook and other forms of Social Media, so I decided to make a positive post every day for 30 days. Well, I received so much love and support from my friends and family from all over the world that I decided to keep doing it. Thank you all.
The other day I was on the back of a motorcycle taxi on my way to the skytrain, and I was thinking about when I was a kid and remembering some of the good times I have. As I was thinking, I remembered a game I used to play all summer long. It was either at a friend’s house, at the house a friend of my parents, and at my house. Every time we would go to a weekend softball tournament and spend time between games at a friends house, or just hanging around my house with some friends, and not really want to do much, but also be out side. This game was always fun. As the title says, this game was called Jarts, or Lawn Darts, or Yard Darts.
I have thought long and hard on where to begin on this update. A lot has happened in these past few months that I cannot explain in just a few posts or one long story. So I am going to divide this into certain parts and hopefully it will come across the way I wish it to, because, it’s really an awesome story, but I have to back track certain parts n order for it to male complete sense.
Those who know me both online and in real life know I am a very spiritual person. I am not the type who publicly talks about it much because my spiritual journey is something that consider very private and sacred. Until now, I have shared details with very few, and those I did share it with offline misunderstood what I was saying completely.
As far back as I can remember, which is a pretty long time back, I have always been a huge fan of Christmas. I don’t know why. I know a lot of people that don’t like Christmas for many different reasons. Some people I know don’t like Christmas because they feel its way beyond commercialized. Some people I know don’t like Christmas because it’s a Christian holiday. Some people I know don’t like Christmas because it’s a Pagan holiday. Some people I know don’t like Christmas because, well, I guess because it’s Christmas, I don’t know.
