hirondelle Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 How are you feeling? I do believe we have another kidney stone expert on the board... @icewlf? 1 Quote
Tika Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 @Moonhawk are they passing on there own and hopefully no surgery? 1 Quote
Moonhawk Posted October 3, 2017 Author Posted October 3, 2017 No surgery but phuk I really want them out. This is maddening. I barely ever drink soda, just coffee. Which doesn’t make sense to me but whatever. Percasets are my new best friends Quote
Timberwolf Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 Have they said what needs to be done yet? Quote
icewlf Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 meh....you get used to them =P hehehehehee 1 Quote
Moonhawk Posted October 3, 2017 Author Posted October 3, 2017 All I can do is wait it out and pee it out which hurts like a bitch but it still hasn’t finished its way into my bladder so I could pee it out. It hurts so much Quote
Timberwolf Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 I hope you can. I hope you can take care of it with out surgery. Quote
Kethlia Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 Sends healing vibes and light to ease the pain, break the stone and smooth it's passage.* 1 Quote
icewlf Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 drink lots and lots of water. Help flush the system and shoot it out. Also, if you're not already, drink at least 2 liters of water a day (help keep your urine diluted). Not fun, but....with time, if you're cursed enough to have a lot, you really do get used to them. I got to the point where I didn't really know I was in pain until I looked at myself shaking, and my skin tone. My mind refused to acknowledge the pain, cause it was a known. 1 Quote
hirondelle Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 I once read where you can do a kidney flush by drinking water and eating ton is of watermelon. Basically 48 hours water and watermelon. Not sure if that is bullshit... I do read a lot of hippy vegan bullshit. Quote
Moonhawk Posted October 4, 2017 Author Posted October 4, 2017 The tenderness and pain on my side are still there. Have to wait it out. Lots of water and pain meds for now. This sucks 1 Quote
Moonhawk Posted October 5, 2017 Author Posted October 5, 2017 Finally peed some out still tender have dr appointment tomorrow let’s see what she says 1 Quote
Timberwolf Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 I'm glad they are starting to come out @Moonhawk. Quote
Moonhawk Posted October 8, 2017 Author Posted October 8, 2017 Thank you all for your concerns. This pain I don’t wish it on anyone not even my worst enemy. Feeling like someone stabbed you on the side and left the knife in and no one can take it out m. That’s what i felt for 2-3 days. I’m still tender by much better. Now I’m out of energy most days for lack of sleep for so many days from the pain but I’m recovering. I’m a walking zobie which sucks now because i can’t drikk coffee as much... 1 Quote
Timberwolf Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 At least it isn’t as painful. Hopefully the tenderness will start to go away so you can sleep. Quote
