Squarepeg Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 Thought I'd put these in a different thread so people knew there might be things in here that aren't safe for your work computer. These are all done with charcoal and/or pastel unless otherwise stated, and these first ones were all done from photos on Tumblr, with the artists permission and i drew them last year. Quote
Squarepeg Posted October 28, 2017 Author Posted October 28, 2017 This one is from one of my photos of Autumn. Quote
Squarepeg Posted October 28, 2017 Author Posted October 28, 2017 That's it until I can be arsed to draw some more! Tell me what you think. Quote
Squarepeg Posted October 28, 2017 Author Posted October 28, 2017 Just now, from one of my images. Sorry the photo's crap, took it with my phone. Quote
hirondelle Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 They are amazing Jamie I love them. The 6th is my favourite because of the dramatic angle and also the chiaroscuro. Charcoal is something I have never really played with much... it is super energetic and it scares me a bit, but perfect for this subject matter. I would love to do some life drawing - rather than perfect poised body parts that is haha. Can I ask a question... why no cock? I feel like it is MISSING from the male haha... are you scared of drawing willies? I guess they can be tough to get right, like noses. My noses usually are obviously over corrected and redrawn. I am sure my willies would be the same.... also I would probably make it bigger, because you know... we all have aspirations. 1 Quote
Squarepeg Posted October 28, 2017 Author Posted October 28, 2017 @hirondelle I was actually thinking of doing more male studies, including full frontal. Quote

Timberwolf Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 These are incredible. I'm looking forward to seeing more @Squarepeg! 1 Quote
