Timberwolf Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 OK, I watched the full game last night. @Phoenix is right, the first have the Bears owned. You should have scored more than those 2 points. In the second half, both teams made a hell of a game of it, and both teams got lots of penalties. It should have gone into overtime, but Trubisky should have thrown that ball out of bounds. Could have forced the overtime, but he tried to make a completion, and if he would have made it, it would have been awesome for you, shitty for me, but with a guy like Smith, well, you saw what happened. Good game over all, but I can't say the bears won the game out side of the points on the board. They won the first half, but the second half was an open game. Just my opinion. Quote
Spyder Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 Steelers lose to Jacksonville last week, beat undefeated KC this week. Not even going to try to pretend I have any idea what's going to happen in football anymore. Quote
Timberwolf Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 Yeah, everything seems pretty upside down right now. Quote
Forest Mage Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 The Saints game was so crazy yesterday. They were doing to good, then got cocky and almost lost the game. All of us at the game were getting pissed off around that time, they pulled out a win thank god. 1 Quote

And because da Bearss beat da Steelers, dis meanss dey are the best in the NFL my frent. Really though, for a team that needs draft picks and a new head coach, winning a game on the road against a tough defense isn't a good sign. 8-8 here we come. Ugh. 1 Quote
Timberwolf Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 I'm just happy that the Vikes won again. Quote
Moonhawk Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 The phins had a hell of a second half. Almost lost it in the end but good game. Cutler still sucks add and we ain’t making it to the playoffs. I’m happy with a 500 season but is also far fetched 1 Quote
Squarepeg Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 There's a game here tomorrow, at Twickingham. A friend from work is going. I can't remember who's playing though. 1 Quote
Phoenix Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 Minnesota Vikings vs. Cleveland Browns. Probably going to be very one-sided, even with the Vikings' trouble at quarterback. The Browns are a complete disaster. 1 Quote
Moonhawk Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 StuPid dolphins and their retarded ass backward plays. They had a winning record and then they fall apart... against the stupid Ravens! Football and the dolphins raise my blood pressure 1 Quote
Phoenix Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 That game across the pond was close for a while. This is why the NFL is as popular as it is--the league has enough parity that any game that could be a blowout can end up interesting. This Bears defense is for real. They have second and third-stringers out there but still forcing turnovers and not giving up a lot of points. Drew Brees had been sacked five times all season, and the Bears front got to him twice. Trubisky is very raw, so this may not even be a playoff team next year, but if they can pick up a wideout, this young roster could look great all of a sudden. Quote

Football and the dolphins raise my blood pressure I was going to ask about this @Moonhawk. @Phoenix, Keenum is doing well at quarterback. Our offensive line is stronger than it has been in years. Our defense is good, but it's like they forgot to wrap up their tackles against the Browns, that seemed to be the problem when I was watching them yesterday. Quote
Phoenix Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 He threw four picks at Twickenham last year, so definitely a better trip this time around. Is he doing well enough to take the starter job from a healthy Sam Bradford though? I have to figure either way the Vikings should take the division this year. Tonight's broadcast was brutal. I'm not at all a fan of McDonough and Gruden, so when the game's bad, it's bad. Quote
Timberwolf Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 He’s a better scrambler than Bradford, but not good enough to take the starting position from Bradford. Bradford is a better all around quarterback. Quote
Spyder Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 DeShaun Watson tore his ACL in practice today. Blech. Just a craptastic year for injuries. The game is just a war of attrition at this point. Last team with its stars intact gets the Super Bowl trophy. Quote
Timberwolf Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Ain't that the truth @Spyder. It does seem to be an excessive amount this year. Quote
Moonhawk Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 And the dolph idiots give away their star running back.... for an f ing 4th round pick what the actual fuck!!!!!!!! 1 Quote
Timberwolf Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 I meant to ask you about this. What was that all about? Quote
Moonhawk Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Another idiotic move by a franchise who has done shit for their fans for years and years 1 Quote
Timberwolf Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Making they are working for the #1 Draft pick either next season or the season after. Quote
Moonhawk Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Don’t need that they need to build on what hey have. They had a decent o line they tore it apart. They had a great rb squad they tore it up and now again. They have good receivers they send those away too for what for bullshit. I love them and I hate them. Stupid ass organization and upper management idiots 1 Quote
Timberwolf Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 That's how I felt over the last few years with the Vikes. We needed an offensive line, but they just wouldn't get anybody, or get players that were just shit. They kept Matt Kalil, who was terrible. They finally got rid of him, and now we have a decent offensive line that actually protects our quarterback. Quote
Spyder Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 I know the Steelers needed the bye week, but damn was Sunday kind of boring without them. Need that game I really feel invested in to make it feel like it's not just another day. Quote
Phoenix Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 (edited) Yeah, I was in the same boat with the Bears being off (though I should be thankful their games aren't a death march any more like they were through week 4). KC at Dallas wasn't so good, and I think I watched the Monday night game on mute the whole time while I did other stuff. Edited November 8, 2017 by Phoenix 1 Quote
Timberwolf Posted November 10, 2017 Posted November 10, 2017 I'm looking forward to the Vikes playing this week. I expect big things this week. Quote
