Phoenix Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Pretty much got what I wanted this week at Soldier Field. No big injuries, a loss in the standings, some progression with Trubisky, and the coaching staff looking really bad. The actual NFL professional wideout they traded for dropping passes isn't good, though. Quote
Spyder Posted November 14, 2017 Posted November 14, 2017 Well, the Steelers were bad, but at least they were playing a team that they could be bad against and still get a win. Thankfully it doesn't have to be pretty to count. Quote
Timberwolf Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 How about them Vikes. They are looking good with Keenum QBing. The running backs are looks solid, not great, but solid. Are receivers are doing really well also, and what about Theilin?!?! I'm just happy our offensive line are solid and it wasn't at the cost of our defensive line. The only thing I have a problem with is the consistency of Kai Forbath. Missing simple kicks. WTF is that about? Quote
Spyder Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 I really wish the Steelers would try winning a game without it coming down to the last play . It doesn't seem like a lot to ask that there be a game every once in a while that doesn't stress me out. 1 Quote
Timberwolf Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 I'm just happy the Vikes won again this week, and won soundly. It was a rough loss last week against the Panthers, but to bounce back like this is good. Quote
Phoenix Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 Gotta say, the league is tough to watch this year between the catch rule problems showing up again and injuries to high profile players everywhere. Playoffs are starting to get a "last man standing" vibe to them. Still three years left on the deal after this, but the expiration of the collective bargaining agreement is already starting to loom large. Quote
Timberwolf Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 Yeah, I'm not liking the catch rule as well. It doesn't seem to be judged fairly, even in the same game. And yeah, there does seem to be a lot of injuries this year. Quote
Moonhawk Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 So the season is over the Eagles win it good for them another 6 months to wait until we start again 1 Quote
Timberwolf Posted February 27, 2018 Posted February 27, 2018 That's pretty much how I feel @Moonhawk. Quote
Timberwolf Posted July 12, 2018 Posted July 12, 2018 So there's roughly 8 weeks until the start of the NFL preseason. I'm expecting big things from the Minnesota Vikings. We didn't lose a lot of players and although we lost Case Keenum, Sam Bradford and Teddy Bridgewater, we did get Kirk Cousins who is supposed to be a better quarterback. The things I've read say that although Cousins didn't have a great few years, he is a better quarterback than Keenum, Bradford or Bridgewater. I hope this is the case. What about your teams? 1 Quote
Dulcet Posted September 27, 2018 Posted September 27, 2018 @Timberwolf what’s that number in the third column? Mitch is still our QB and the football gods have granted us first place in NFC North Week 3. I can say no one expected this, but I’m ok with that. Also @Ren, somewhere Tim Russert is smiling. Go Bills!!! Quote
Timberwolf Posted September 27, 2018 Posted September 27, 2018 Do you mean in the standings @Dulcet? That means tie. Quote
Dulcet Posted September 27, 2018 Posted September 27, 2018 I know I was just bragging that we’re in first. Quote

Timberwolf Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 Yes you did. The Vikes lost it for a while there, but we should still make the playoffs. Quote
Timberwolf Posted May 24, 2019 Posted May 24, 2019 Things are looking interesting for the NFL for the 2019-2020 season. The Minnesota Vikings have made a few good choices. Just need to figure out a way to work around Cousins. Any way, here are the standing from last season. https://www.google.com/search?q=nfl+2018+standings&rlz=1C5CHFA_enTH781TH781&oq=NFL+2018+&aqs=chrome.2.69i57j0l5.7677j0j9&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#sie=lg;/g/11fyxc6cz9;6;/m/059yj;st;fp;1;; You can follow the link, but I'll make it simple here.
