Merry Christmas

It's that time of year!  It's almost Christmastime.  What will you be doing for Christmas this year?  

 

For @hirondelleand I, we will be going to one of our favorite holiday dinner places, Bourbon Street.  Then on the 27th, we will be heading off to Krabi for the New Years.

that sounds like fun, so far our Christmas festivities have included a Christmas Tea party at my Aunt's and A Christmas party for volunteers of the convention I volunteer for. On the 21st we will be attending a Christmas/Housewarming Party at hubby's brother's place. The 24th it is Christmas at Chris' grandma's place, The 25th is Christmas at my brother's place and the 26th is Christmas at Chris' mom's place.

So here are some things that we do leading up to Christmas.  After the American Thanksgiving we set up our tree.  This year we decided to do something different.  We found out we needed lights for our tree, don't know what happened to the old ones, so when we went out to get them, I found purple lights, and I just had to have them.  To go with that, got some new ornaments as well, you know, have to match the purple lights.  I love it!!

 

I also start listening to Christmas music, almost only Christmas music, from this time until Christmas Day.

 

The last thing we do is we start watching Christmas movies.  Not every day, but we have a more than enough Christmas movies to watch if we wanted to, but you can only watch so many Christmas (no, I don't really believe this, but I can only watch them from Thanksgiving to Christmas Day).

On Christmas Eve we'll be going to my Uncle's house, and then back to his house on Christmas Day.   Later in the afternoon on Christmas Day we'll go do Christmas on my mom's side of the family.
