DarkAngel
So, I want to read a Stephen King novel/series. I tried reading them as a teenager, but couldn't get into them. I think now that I'm older, I would enjoy them. I've seen most of his popular films, so I'd prefer something I don't already know the story line to for my first book. What would you guys recommend for my first Stephen King book? TIA
Timberwolf
Oh, I would recommend The Dark Tower or The Bachman Books.

Cyrain
I know i read The Eye of the Dragon a long time ago and loved it. I remember trying to read The Gunslinger and couldn't get into it/the style of writing threw me off, but it's again been a loooong time. I honestly don't remember the last Stephen King book I read :-/ probably either The Green Mile or Eye of the Dragon

Insanity. I was missing out. A few years after we were married, @Squarepeg insisted I read The Stand - there was no getting out of it, lol. One of the best books I've ever read.
