I just realized that I posted three quotes in a row and I should've just done the multi-quote thing..... Can you tell I'm a little rusty on the whole message board thing? Oh, and I am reading Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch and also just started The Unwanteds by Lisa McMann (it's YA but my son wanted me to read it before he did )

My husband was just telling me last night about a podcast he was listening to that interviewed Iced-T. He recorded the audio for a World of Warcraft fanfiction book, and he said it was the hardest thing he's ever done! He said there were words in there that had no business being written He thought it would be easy money and only take him a day... it took him like a week!

My sister-in-law recently posted this to Facebook, and I thought it was worth sharing. It is not a cure-all, by any means, for the various mental illnesses that can make us feel like we just can't go on...and I am fortunate to not be suffering from a mental illness, but the ideas and suggestions in this spoke to me - we all have days when we just "can't" anymore. If this isn't the right place for it, please feel free to move it. I didn't want to put it in the health forum because I didn't want anyone to think I was downplaying the reality of mental illness or the struggle to cope with every day.
