    BDSM...

I can just see all the posh people who have come to watch the equestrian events! That being said, there should also be an 'equestrian' event where the athletes have two halves of coconut...

    BDSM...

Well, I don't know. It says that the video is unavailable... damn, it must be risque!
  3. In no particular order: General Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Chronic Low Mood, Borderline Personality Disorder.

    BDSM...

Well, they ARE adding Pole Dancing... so, why not?
  5. Mr. Jones has all his videos made by Lunchy Media, who do really good quality lyric videos. I can't answer your question about what the city is, however. Stevie Jones and The Wildfires are an excellent example of the superb talent that resides in the East Midlands, UK. They are an incredible band to see live. I have had the honour of playing keys for them, and the stage is simply electric when they play. Their debut album, Stratigraphic Heart, is well worth the listening to, and the NEW album, 'Angels and Sirens' - which will be soft released in November and internationally released next year, is brilliant from both a musical and lyrical standpoint (yes, I have gotten to hear it early...I'm special like that...also, I feature on the album). They are on all the social media, etc...so, if you like them, please do give them a follow. And, if you ever have the chance to catch them live, do so!!! Today, I offer you a wordsmith, a clever guitarist, and one of the most wonderful guys I've ever had the pleasure of meeting: Andy Griffiths (not to be confused with American actor Andy Griffith...who also played the guitar and sang, but, I digress). I am amazingly lucky to know this guy and be considered his friend. I have shared a vape with this man as we stood outside a raucous Irish pub, regaling each other with how we both really need to pick our gigs a lot better and that we needed to write a book in order to 'encourage' young independent artists titled 'Just Don't'. Andy is a kindred spirit. So, yeah, I might be a little biased here, but he IS truly an artist of immense talent. I give you, with no more ado, a track from his new album 'Big Red Monster', this is Andy Griffiths and 'Liar's Hymn'.
  6. Culture definitely comes along with the language. The older the language, the more culture comes with it. My interest in Japanese began, in earnest, when Fairlight developed an interest (read 'obsession') in anime and manga. She started picking up words and phrases, and I wanted to know what she was saying. So, I downloaded a language app and got stuck in...until life took over. It's difficult to learn a completely new language as an adult. I would really need to totally immerse myself in it in order to get to the point where I can really chat with someone, with more than 'Konnichiwa. Choshi wa do?'
  7. As if I had a choice about coming back, Sexy Wolf! The Goddess knows exactly where I live. There was no not joining. And, it is VERY good to be back here with all my squishable peeps.
  8. The thing is, @Phoenix, when you want to get my attention with one word, you say my name. That goes a loooong way in getting me to stop what I'm doing and respond. That works loads better than the people who just send a 'hi' and EXPECT me to stop what I'm going and run to them...as if they were...you. The nerve!
  9. I think diet and exercise should be seperate from anything else. For one, the obsession over such things simply isn't good for MY mental health. I know, for many, exercise is like their religion, but I find the obsession just as unhealthy as being nothing but a couch potato and eating crisps all day is - it's simply the other side of madness and self-physical abuse. The whole topic should be contained so that the fit-bit people can enjoy their masochistic torture away from the rest of us. It would be good to have a health forum for those of us who suffer from both chronic physical and mental conditions. Could be a spoonies thread for those of us who suffer from some form of chronic exhaustion. Various threads for different conditions. Various threads for different mental disorders.
  10. I have a grievance. Yeah, you'll be shocked. Me? Agrieved? Yeah. Why do some people send messages on Facebook messenger that just say 'Hi'? They use FB messenger like an IMing thing. I don't see it that way. For me, the messenger is just like another e-mail. There's a little element of chatting with it, sure; I banter back and forth with certain people. But, I still don't ever think of it like an IM. Now, I have people waving at me and sending me 'Hi', as if I'm supposed to stop and shoot the breeze. WTF?!
  11. *stumbles in, dripping wet, after trudging through the rain to get the kids to school and collapses onto The Goddess's lap* Mornin'. I don't like mornings. I do, however, like coffee and you lot.
  12. I've let my Japanese language study really slip. I still have the app on my phone and keep promising myself I WILL get back to it; so many other things just crowd in and take over. But, I allow myself to get too easily overwhelmed, as you know.
  13. Today, I bring you the brilliant Stevie Jones and The Wildfires. This track is called 'Instant World'.
  14. I started a topic in musicians' studio... and it is there when I go into the studio, but it isn't showing up from the main forum page. So, people can't tell that it's there! It says 'no posts here yet'. But, there is a post.
  15. I figure I should settle in and make myself comfy. The Wolf and The Goddess would expect me to be the first to post in this forum; I would not wish to disappoint either of them. For those of you who don't know, I am (out there in the real world) a professional singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist, a recording artist and performer; I'm a solo artist, as well as being part of a band. I am really not tooting my own horn here, because that is not one of the intruments I play. What I want to do with this thread is to make a place where I can share with you some great music from lesser known independent artists you may not be aware of, but are very worth the knowing and the listening to. Yeah, I'll probably post a link or two to my own stuff from time to time, but don't worry; I'm not making this about me. There will be lots of variety and I hope you'll stay tuned in and, hopefully, find some new faves among my fellow indie artists. I will start with the incredible Siobhan Mazzei and her song 'Courage of Your Convictions'. https://siobhanmazzei.bandcamp.com/track/courage-of-your-convictions
  16. Is very kind (and is also often correct).
  17. Has also been posting quite a bit.
  18. I, too, hope I can make time for this, oh you Foxy one. It's good just to have a place to connect with you again.
  19. I forgot how long it takes just to get sorted withg a profile pic and such. But, I am glad the Northlands is back. I think it's needed. I am very busy now, life wise, I'm either gigging, hussling to get gigs, or preparing for gigs, recording, or chasing after the kids and the cat. So, I doubt I'll be here as often as I'd like to be. But, I will try to make myself felt as much as possible (read into that anything you wish to).
