You've found a sign at least. We'll be here to listen. And as this is a first for you to actually spot the signs. Why not post here each time you recognize it and then not only do you get use to knowing what they are and why. I think there are also time stamps on each post so that you can track time between each one or recognize what had happen to cause each one. Either way if there is a way we can help, post it.

Well, for starters. I am Yui, that way you don't have to call out hey girl and I'll know which one of us you're calling for. That and for emergency too. Yui offers the guy now holding the newest arrival. Unless he needs medical care. Yui pauses and looks around at their surroundings once more. We can chose a direction with the easiest terrain to traverse and head that way until we need shelter and the like. I can also help carry him when you get tired buddy." Yui looks down to see if her companion is still okay having kept her hand proffered to her.

Yumi chitters for a little bit before she breaks into a toothy grin. If my friends are there then it's safe, by myself the fish seem to like me too much. A chill runs up her spine and she looks around. Seeing a battle worn owl Yumi's first instinct is to dive for shelter. But, knowing of the place she is in Yumi looks closely at the owl. She confirms he is indeed eyeing in a way that makes her fur bristle. Yumi keeps her eye on the owl as she edges to the tree with her whorl.

Yui turns her back to the bar and leans on it with both her arms propped on the bar. When Alanna sits next to her she watches the woman shift her garments around. A thought comes to mind as she listens to Alanna. "Well seeing as we're in a new place perhaps in time your true name will gain a new meaning. Until then Alanna is the name of a girl who breaks traditions and becomes a recognized knight and the first female knight to boot. She has eyes of violet and a black cat with matching eyes because she has been blessed by a Goddess with a magic gift." Yui pauses debating upon her earlier thought. "Forgive me, if I am too forward with you. But, your chainmaille has to be uncomfortable. I am wearing two shirts, this t-shirt being one and a tank top underneath. I would be happy to lend you my t-shirt." Yui asks with a easy demeanor.

I have been avoiding the rest because some sequels become less than stellar. Does she do her trilogy justice with her series? Also read The Otori series starting with the Across the nightingale floor.

Yumi has enough tree walker sense in her to glare at Timberwolf as she sits up and wrings herself out. Your small lake is an open ocean for me, but for you it's a kiddies pool

The woman near her is distracted by a man falling out of the sky? The feeling of something changing happens again and this time the man from early goes to something further off and squats down. Popular place for one in another existence. Because I know for sure that this place wasn't in my world. She stands and offer a hand up toward the Other woman. We can see if any one needs help. So far this new world was pretty laid back and had no signs civilization.

Yumi blinks and finds herself in water, river water. Very fast fast flowing river water for a tree walker! Squeaking in alarm she remembers the fish ride she got the last time she went near water and immediately scrambles for shore as fast as her little legs can take her. Once on shore Yumi falls in a soggy skinnier heap on the bank. Yumi needs to stay away from high waters, Phewww! She wiggles her wet snout a bit in agreement with herself.

Yui grins back at Thorn and settles into her seat a little more. She looks to Alanna when Thorn disappears and pleasantly offers a seat next to her. "Are you sure Alanna is okay? She is a character in a book from my time." Yui offers a smile toward the warrior woman feeling a little guilty for her earlier reactions when she saw Alanna glance her way in apology. The door opens on it's own and atmosphere changes for a moment. Another person comes in, this time an armed man. Yui glance at Alanna and then at Bob. Neither has reacted much but she can feel a change coming from somewhere.

I will try these, the wall stretch I have done before during a tense time and it didn't seem to work when my lower back goes into a warming sensation where my muscles seem to warm themselves up to almost burning just from laying on my back. I love the picture reference too. I'll need to us an aid since I won't be able to hold that position by myself. I think my exercise ball or core ball may work as I got those to help begin stretches. Thank you @hirondelle and @Timberwolf

That was helpful actually, I get a bit of stage fright when I have to speak publicly and forget what I memorized for my presentation. Even if I have everything before I still a blank page in those moments. I will try using your tip the next time around.
